In the near future, an Air Force officer investigating a string of spacecraft disappearances crash-lands on a tiny, gravity-defying asteroid world, where he's shrunk down to six inches tall and granted permanent citizenship among its stranded human colonists. He falls for a mute local woman and helps defend the miniature world from a hostile alien race before eventually returning to Earth, leaving her behind to protect the planet's secret. Notable early screen appearance by Richard Kiel (later "Jaws" in the Bond films).
