One of the earliest releases from what would become American International Pictures, The Phantom from 10,000 Leagues combines creature-feature thrills with Cold War anxieties about radiation. This Mexican lobby card reflects how American sci-fi was marketed abroad, often with more lurid emphasis than in the U.S. Market survival on lobby cards from this period is relatively low, making complete, attractive examples very collectible.
