Bob Hope and Jane Russell star in this comedy-western that became one of Paramount’s biggest hits of the 1940s. Its popularity led to the successful sequel Son of Paleface (1952), and the film remains an important example of the genre spoof popular in postwar Hollywood. Belgian posters for titles of this era are much scarcer than their U.S. counterparts, making them attractive alternatives for collectors.
