Very scarce Italian photobusta for I Was a Teenage Frankenstein (Italian title La Strage di Frankenstein). Photobustas were oversized lobby stills produced for Italian cinemas and are widely regarded as the rarest format of Italian movie posters. This example hides the monster’s face, a marketing choice to heighten suspense for audiences. With its sensational title and strong cult following, this remains one of the most appealing pieces from American International Pictures’ 1950s horror cycle.
