This is the highly collectible September 1950 issue of Fantastic Novels Magazine. It features an unforgettable, action-packed time-travel and sword-and-planet cover painted by master illustrator Lawrence Sterne Stevens (signing as "Lawrence") to showcase Charles B. Stilson's legendary fantasy classic, "Polaris and the Goddess Glorian".
The front cover retains vivid, bright colours with moderate wear including corner blunting, creasing, and spine stress lines. The back cover shows soiling and surface wear. The spine is tanned/browned with age-appropriate darkening but text remains legible.
