Extremely rare horizontal teaser daybill for Haunted and the Hunted (the Australian re-title of Francis Ford Coppola’s Dementia 13). Unlike the standard vertical daybill, this special format was printed in very small numbers and omits all credits, giving it a striking, minimalist appeal.  The eerie “watching eye” artwork is actually borrowed from the 1950s Australian spook show Dr. Dracula’s Living Nightmare. Collectors prize this crossover, since spook show memorabilia is a niche market in its own right.  The film itself, Coppola’s first mainstream directorial work under Roger Corman, has become a cult classic in the psychological horror genre, blending gothic atmosphere with proto-slasher elements.
