A reissue double-bill pairing two unrelated early Hollywood women-in-peril pictures. Probation (1932) stars a young Betty Grable as Ruth, a teenager caught up in scandal with an older man, whose brother is sentenced to work off an assault charge as chauffeur to the judge's niece, who happens to be engaged to the very man he attacked. The "Girls of the Underworld" half advertised alongside it is a much more obscure title I couldn't pin down with confidence, likely one of the many low-budget "fallen women" crime pictures churned out in the period.
