A teenage martial artist, after his family's dojo is destroyed by a mob-connected fighter and his gang, trains in secret under the guidance of a mysterious mentor (implied to be the spirit of Bruce Lee) to master real combat skills, setting up a climactic showdown against the gang's champion, a brutal fighter played by Jean-Claude Van Damme.
