As a child, Cathy causes a car crash that kills her mother after distracting her during an intimate moment with a lover. Sixteen years later, now going by the name Helen, she's grown into a psychologically unstable stage actress who lands a role in a play called "Comedy of Blood," only for the cast to start being murdered one by one by an unseen killer wielding a jagged shard of glass.
