An obsessive New York cab driver travels to the Cannes Film Festival hoping to convince his favorite scream-queen actress to star in the horror film he's dreamed of directing. As he stalks her with increasingly disturbing devotion, a real killer begins murdering everyone around her, and it's left ambiguous just how much of the carnage is actually his doing.
