A martial artist is recruited by British intelligence to infiltrate a mysterious island fighting tournament hosted by a reclusive, opium-trafficking crime lord, using the competition as cover to gather evidence of the villain's criminal empire and avenge his own sister's death at the hands of the man's henchmen.
