After a genetically engineered strain of the flu escapes a military lab and wipes out most of the world's population, the scattered survivors are drawn by dreams toward one of two figures: a kindly elderly woman representing good, or a sinister supernatural drifter representing evil, setting up a final confrontation between the two camps. Miniseries adaptation of Stephen King's novel.
