In a primal fantasy world, an evil ice queen unleashes a glacier that threatens to swallow the last free kingdoms, while a young warrior and a fierce, sword-wielding princess join forces to stop her sorcerous son and his subhuman army before the world is frozen into submission. An animated collaboration between director Ralph Bakshi and fantasy illustrator Frank Frazetta, using rotoscoping to give the animation a strikingly realistic, painterly quality.
