Grotesque, tentacled creatures serve as living household appliances in this dystopian sci-fi household, where a family's already-strange dinner plans spiral further out of control when the father's boss shows up and makes an inappropriate pass at his wife. Subduing the unwelcome guest turns out to be only half the evening's chaos, once the family learns their teenage daughter has been arrested at a party.
