Working in secret at night, Dr. Otto Frankenstein assembles a hulking creature named Mosaic from stolen body parts, only for it to break free and go on a killing spree targeting local women while an inspector races to track it down. Directed by Mario Mancini, the film leans more on gory shock effects and grindhouse sleaze than on Mary Shelley's original story, drawing more inspiration from adult horror comics than literature. Dalila Di Lazzaro, who would go on to play the creature herself the same year in Paul Morrissey's Andy Warhol's Frankenstein, appears here in a supporting role.
