In Elizabethan England, a ruthless witch-hunting magistrate tortures and executes the leader of a local coven, who curses him with her dying breath by summoning a demonic spirit to possess one of his own servants. One by one, the magistrate's family is killed by the possessed man, and no matter how far he flees, the curse follows him to an inescapable end.
