In a post-nuclear future where all surviving humans have become sterile, a mercenary is sent into occupied Manhattan to find and retrieve the last fertile woman on Earth. Navigating a city overrun by rival factions and mutants, he locates her in cryogenic hibernation and fights his way out to a rocket that will carry them both to a new world. Directed by Sergio Martino as an unofficial riff on Escape from New York.
