Up for sale is an incredibly rare piece of science fiction history: the premiere August 1936 issue of Thrilling Wonder Stories. This marks the exact moment Standard Publishing rebranded the classic Gernsback title, kicking off an iconic run that lasted nearly two decades.

The front cover displays edge and corner deterioration, creasing, and a rubber stamp/ink marking, while the back cover is toned and worn but intact. The spine is worn with colour loss and browning.
